You can never go wrong with the basics and a pop of color! The softly distressed, dark-wash jeans and white t-shirt paired with sandals and a scarf make it incredibly versatile. Wear it in the office, a day at the park, or for a summer night out.

The little lime peek-a-boo's give the neutral look a bit of diversity to keep it eye-catching!

Add some stud earrings and lipgloss and you've got the whole look!

Summer Swimsuits!

07/08/2014

The season is not over and for us girls out there it can be extremely difficult to find a cute, affordable swimsuit that fits our individual body types. Luckily I have finally found the perfect place to buy cute and reasonably priced swimwear for the sunny days!

J. Crew. Who would've guessed, right? Maybe this isn't a secret after-all to some of you.. But I never thought about going there for cute and modest swimsuits! I figured they would have a selection about as good as Hollister....

One-Piece suits are definitely hot this Summer.

Here are a few of my top picks!
Picture
The Jersey Lomellina metal-trim bandeau tank (Pictured in the color "Earth".) This style comes in 5 different colors.
Doesn't it look like a lighter colored swimsuit verion of Selena Gomez's dress in her "A Year Without Rain" Video!?

**Ohh.. Ya know.. Just a random picture**

Keep it sweet and classic with this Seersucker Banded Underwire Tank in either blue or neon peach! I really love this one. It's just so timeless and fits the body just right.

Make a splash in bold colors! Here is the J. Crew Italian Matte Tie-Front Tank. You can choose from 6 fun colors to lay pool-side.
I absolutely love the criss-cross tie design!

Or cover up with these adorable Paisley Liberty Harajuku Board Shorts
I love these. So. Much.

And last, but not least, is the J.Crew Mini-Geo Halter Tank. A GREAT choice for a patterned style or if you're looking for an aztec vibe.
Now that the middle of Summer is approaching, you can finally rock that summer body in something both cute AND flattering!

Just keep swimming!

The Basic Bun.

Basic Bun How-To:
  1. Brush through hair with a wide tooth comb! Using a normal brush will cause static and will make hair look greasy. Using a wide tooth comb also gives it a slight, but not unkempt, messy look.
  2. Use your fingers to comb the hair up into a high pony tail. Make it a bit higher than you would like it to sit because gravity will pull it lower.
  3. Hold the pony tail straight up from your head at the ends and twist the pony tail. The looser you twist it, the looser the bun will look.
  4. Now wrap the pony tail around itself.
  5. Use an elastic to hold it in place.
  6. And lastly, spray or bobby pin your hair and fly aways down!
  7. As a bonus, you can add clips or a cute headband or bow to dress it up!
And there you have it! The cute, messy bun! Perfect for hot summer days at the pool or in the office!
Til next time, Peaches!

The {PERFECT} Wardrobe

Those Valentino shoes. Or that Louis Vuitton bag. Maybe it's your absolute favorite dress from Nordstrom. Who says you can't have them?! I am here to help you create the perfect closet space for your DREAM wardrobe.
So let's get on with it!

1.  Clean Your Room!

I don't want to sound like your naggy mother... But seriously. Clean your room. It will give you space to lay out your clothes and will motivate you to finish the job.

2. Get Organized!

Classify each individual section of your closet. This means skirts/dresses, shirts, pants, jewelry, etc. Seperate your basic staples (white tee's, tank tops, etc.) from your wardrobe now so that they can be incorporated into several outfits later...

3. Make some $$!
What to do with the clothes you no longer want:
A. Give to the D.I or Salvation Army
B. Sell online
C. Have a yard sale
D. Give to friends and family

But please, PLEASE do not throw them away unless they are damaged or gross. Someone else could use them out there, somewhere, I'm sure.

4. Decide Which Clothes To Keep and HOW!
A. Does it fit?
B. Does it flatter my figure?
C. Is the Cut, Color, Fabric, etc. flattering?
D. Would I re-buy? Do I love it?
E. Will I wear it? Does it fit my "style"?

5. THE FUN PART!!
You can either go splurge on a shopping spree the old fashioned way girls go shopping... Or save up and slowly integrate new pieces into your wardrobe over time. Either way, eventually you will have all of the clothes you love and a style you've always wanted.

Good luck on your adventure creating your new and fabulous wardrobe!

Til next time, Peaches!

I've Got the Blues...

Aaaaand.. Here it is. The latest color palette trend, a mix of dusty blue hues with gold accents! We have seen this color all over since we saw Lupita Nyong'o hit the red carpet dawning a pale blue gown for the Oscars.

Powder blue is a refreshing twist in fashion that complements all skin tones, hair/eye colors, etc.

It can be used it accessories.. Here is an adorable pale blue, ruched clutch that can be found on Etsy here.

Something blue.....
Picture
Keep a bright and open space using hints of blue hues in throw pillows, chairs, dishes or whatever else you can think of around the house!
Picture
Or implement it into an office space or bedroom...
Picture
And who wouldn't want pale blue hair like Aliso-- I mean, Sasha Pieterse. ;)
Picture
What blue inspiration do you have? Let me know in the comments how you use pale blues in your wardrobe, home, accessories, etc. :)

See ya soon, Peaches!
