Those Valentino shoes. Or that Louis Vuitton bag. Maybe it's your absolute favorite dress from Nordstrom. Who says you can't have them?! I am here to help you create the perfect closet space for your DREAM wardrobe.
So let's get on with it!
So let's get on with it!
1. Clean Your Room!
I don't want to sound like your naggy mother... But seriously. Clean your room. It will give you space to lay out your clothes and will motivate you to finish the job.
2. Get Organized!
Classify each individual section of your closet. This means skirts/dresses, shirts, pants, jewelry, etc. Seperate your basic staples (white tee's, tank tops, etc.) from your wardrobe now so that they can be incorporated into several outfits later...
3. Make some $$!
What to do with the clothes you no longer want:
A. Give to the D.I or Salvation Army
B. Sell online
C. Have a yard sale
D. Give to friends and family
But please, PLEASE do not throw them away unless they are damaged or gross. Someone else could use them out there, somewhere, I'm sure.
4. Decide Which Clothes To Keep and HOW!
A. Does it fit?
B. Does it flatter my figure?
C. Is the Cut, Color, Fabric, etc. flattering?
D. Would I re-buy? Do I love it?
E. Will I wear it? Does it fit my "style"?
5. THE FUN PART!!
You can either go splurge on a shopping spree the old fashioned way girls go shopping... Or save up and slowly integrate new pieces into your wardrobe over time. Either way, eventually you will have all of the clothes you love and a style you've always wanted.
Good luck on your adventure creating your new and fabulous wardrobe!
Til next time, Peaches!
